Where to Stay:

Hotels

When planning a bachelorette party in Montreal, it's important to choose a hotel that fits your budget and style. Here are some recommendations for different types of hotels:

If you're looking for a luxurious stay in Montreal, the Ritz-Carlton is a great option. This five-star hotel offers spacious rooms, beautiful views of the city, and excellent service. If not for the 5 star staff, pick this hotel for their spa which has waterfalls, fireplaces, and luxurious treatments.

This hotel is centrally located in downtown Montreal and offers spacious rooms and free Wi-Fi. Modern and chic, Hotel Le-Saint-Sulpice is walking distance to Notre-Dame Basilica Montreal as well as highly rated cafes and restaurants.

For a mid-range hotel, the Hôtel Bonaventure Montreal is a great option. This hotel offers spacious rooms, an on-site spa, a pool, and a convenient location in downtown Montreal. This hotel is walking distance to Atrium Le 1000, Mary Queen of the World Cathedral, and Dorchester Square (large urban park)

If you're on a budget, there are plenty of great hotels to choose from in Montreal. The Hotel Gault is a great 4 star option – it's centrally located and offers comfortable rooms at an affordable price. It’s also surrounded by top rated restaurants and shops, and Victoria Square is just down the street.

Another 4 star option, and always a great choice, is the Omni. Wonderful accommodations and dining options, but the best part is their concierge service. Don’t know what to do? Just ask them! They can get you plugged in to Montreal hassle free.

Whatever your budget, there's a hotel in Montreal that's perfect for you. By following these tips, you're sure to find the perfect place to stay for your bachelorette party.

Airbnbs

If you're looking for a unique stay in Montreal, consider renting an Airbnb. There are plenty of great options to choose from, like this cozy loft in Old Montreal or this charming apartment in the Plateau neighborhood.

The best neighborhoods to stay in when visiting Montreal are Old Montreal and the Plateau. Old Montreal is centrally located and filled with charming cobblestone streets and historic buildings. The Plateau is a trendy neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and bars, and it's also home to McGill University.

Another great option for accommodations is a bed and breakfast. There are many lovely B&Bs in Montreal, like Kutuma in the Plateau neighborhood or Lofts du Vieux-Port in Old Montreal.

Where to Eat

When visiting Montreal, be sure to check out some of the city's best restaurants. Some of our favorites include Joe Beef, Au Pied de Cochon in Old Montreal, and L'Express in the downtown area. These restaurants offer amazing food and a unique dining experience.

Get your fill of French cuisine. Montreal is known for its French restaurants, so be sure to try some classic dishes like poutine (fries with gravy and cheese curds) or steak frites (steak with fries). For something lighter, head to one of the city's many bakeries for a croissant or pain au chocolat.

If you're looking for something a little more low-key, there are plenty of great cafes and bakeries in Montreal. Some of our favorites include St-Viateur Bagel in the Plateau neighborhood, Café Olimpico in Downtown Montreal, and Fairmount Bagel in the Mile End neighborhood.

What to Do:

If you're looking for a fun and exciting bachelorette party in Montreal, there are plenty of things to do. Some of our favorite activities include visiting the Montreal Botanical Garden, exploring the city's many trendy neighborhoods, and going on a brewery tour.

Shop till you drop on Saint-Catherine Street

This is the main shopping street in downtown Montreal, and it's full of stores for every budget. If you're looking for designer labels, check out the Underground City, a series of interconnected shopping malls.

Spa Day

Indulge in some pampering at a spa. Montreal has some great spas, like Bota Bota and Strøm Spa Nordique, where you can enjoy massages, facials, and other treatments. Both are highly rated, so if you can fit it in your schedule, a girls spa day is a must.

Have Some Fun in Old Montreal

This historic district is full of charming cobblestone streets and cute cafes. Be sure to visit Place Jacques-Cartier, the city's main square, and take a ride on the Bateau-Mouche, a boat that cruises down the St. Lawrence River. This area of town is full of food options and is picture perfect!

Take in Some Culture

Montreal is home to world-class museums and art galleries, like the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Musee d'Art Contemporain. Or, for something different, check out one of the city's many street performers.

Brewery Tours

Montreal is home to many great breweries, so a brewery tour is a must-do activity when visiting the city. Some of our favorites include Dieu du Ciel in the Plateau neighborhood, and Pub BeWskey and 3 Brasseurs Saint-Paul in downtown.

The Montreal Botanical Garden is a must-see for any nature lover. This beautiful garden is home to over 22,000 plants and flowers, and it's a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Or you know, take a bunch of super cute pics for instagram.

Trendy Neighborhoods

Montreal is home to many great neighborhoods, each with its own unique atmosphere. Some of our favorites include the Plateau, Mile End, and Old Montreal. These neighborhoods are filled with trendy shops, cafes, and restaurants, and they're perfect for exploring on foot.

Where to Go Out

When visiting Montreal for a bachelorette party, be sure to check out some of the city's best nightlife. Some of our favorite places to go out include Le Rouge Bar in the Plateau neighborhood and New City Gas in Downtown Montreal. These bars offer a great atmosphere and a fun night out.

If you're looking for a fun and trendy place to go out in Montreal, Le Rouge Bar is a great option. This bar is located in the Plateau neighborhood and it offers a great atmosphere and a wide selection of drinks.

If you're looking for a club with a more upscale vibe, New City Gas is a great option. This club is located in Downtown Montreal and it offers a variety of music genres and cocktails.

Another hip and trendy place is this cocktail bar. Located between Downtown and Old Montreal. Great selection of drinks, pricing, and atmosphere. Definitely one to visit.

What to Pack

Now that you have an idea of where to go, eat, and sleep, it’s time to pack! Here are some of our suggestions for your Montreal trip:

Attire

The weather in Montreal can vary greatly depending on the time of year. The summer months are usually hot and humid, while the winter months are cold and snowy. However, there are also occasional warm spells during the winter, and the autumn and spring months are usually mild. Luckily we have some custom shirts for the summer and our jean jackets and sweatshirts are perfect for the chilly weather. So, be sure to pack accordingly depending on when you're visiting Montreal.
